Leo Labs is a company specializing in Space Debris Mapping Services. "Leo" refers to both the constellation as well as "lower earth orbit", the area of space where Leo Labs does most of its work. The client wished to avoid a corporate look and didn't want the logo to be too ambiguous. At the time, the company was just beginning, so I needed to design assets that were flexible enough to work on multiple components to pitch to investors.

“LEO” has two meanings: LEO the lion constellation and LEO the acronym (low earth orbit). These logo sketches incorporate both ideas of animal and planet while also incorporating a scientific aesthetic.
